We inform you that from 19:00 h on 12 February 2026 until 01:00 h on 18 February 2026, the VIS operating system will be affected by a temporary operational shutdown.
This is a scheduled and urgent technical intervention which will result in the temporary suspension of activities related to the receipt and processing of visa applications, as well as the issuance of entry visas. This suspension will affect the operations of the Visa Office of the Italian Embassy in Cyprus.
In order to minimize inconvenience to users, appointments that have already been scheduled will be rescheduled to the days immediately preceding or following the period affected by the system downtime, with due consideration given to priority needs and urgent cases.
