The Accademia del Teatro alla Scala is regarded as one of the most prestigious institutions for training professionals working in the performing arts (artistic, technical and managerial roles).

The Accademia’s educational programme is organised into four departments and comprises around thirty courses in music, dance, management and stage production workshops, attended by over 1,700 students each year.

As part of its collaboration with the Academy, the MAECI offers scholarships to international students for the Advanced Training Academy for Opera Singers and the Global Master’s in ‘Performing Arts Management’.

The Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo Teatro alla Scala, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano, has opened applications for the one-year “Global Master’s in Performing Arts Management” (Accademia d’Arti e Mestieri dello Spettacolo – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation). Applications are open until 30 September for citizens of European Union member states, and until 16 September for citizens of other countries.

Three scholarships are made available to Master’s students by the “Gianluca Spina” Association of the Politecnico di Milano, awarded to three deserving students, as well as other scholarships, currently being finalised, listed on the Politecnico’s website: Global Master in Performing Arts Management – POLIMI GSoM. In addition to these scholarships, the MAECI awards scholarships each year to the most deserving international students, under a specific agreement signed with the Academy.
