Notice is hereby given that electoral rallies have been called for the election of the members of the European Parliament for Italy. In Cyprus, voting operations for the election of the members due to Italy will take place at the electoral section set up in Nicosia at the headquarters of the Embassy, on Friday, 7th June and Saturday, 8th June.
Voters registered with AIRE, who have not opted to vote for members pertaining to their EU country of residence, will receive an electoral certificate, sent by the Italian Ministry of the Interior by 25th of May showing the time and location of the vote.
This certificate will also be sent to Italian voters who are temporarily in the country for study or work reasons and to their cohabiting family members who have submitted a specific application by 21st March.
Voters who have not received their electoral certificate at home by the fifth day prior to the day of voting may request it from the Embassy. This can be done starting from 4th of June. Additional information will follow in due time.
Pursuant to art. 7, paragraph 4, of Law 18/1979, notice is hereby given that the reference decree – Presidential Decree of 10 April 2024 “Indication of electoral rallies for the election of members of the European Parliament pertaining to Italy” – has been published in the Official Gazette, General Series, no. 85 of 11.04.2024.
