From the 2nd of December, Italy is classified as RED CATEGORY country.
Passengers from Italy, who do not hold a complete EU Digital Covid Certificate (EUDCC), can enter Cyprus by presenting a negative certification of a molecular swab (PCR), performed up to a maximum of 72 hours before departure. Upon their arrival in Cyprus, passengers shall be required to undergo a new test and remain in self-isolation until the test result is issued. The examination cost will be borne by themselves. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from taking the test.
All arriving passengers must register and complete online, no earlier than 48 hours before the trip, the Cyprus Flight Pass by registering on the portal https://cyprusflightpass.gov.cy/ .
Passengers who are Cypriot citizens and their family members (alien spouses and their underage children), and persons legally residing in the Republic, may undergo the molecular examination upon arrival in the Republic, at their own expenses and self-isolating until they get a negative result, provided that they fulfil one of the following preconditions:
1. Passengers who have been vaccinated with at least the 1st dose of vaccines approved by the Republic of Cyprus;
2. Passengers aged 16 to 18 who have been vaccinated with at least the 1st dose of vaccines approved by the Republic of Cyprus;
3. Minor passengers between 12 and 15 years old;
4. Passengers who cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, upon presentation of a relevant certificate from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus.
