The Embassy of Italy in Cyprus, the ITA office in Beirut and the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce have closely collaborated to encourage a qualified participation in the EMC of Italian companies operating in the energy sector. Numerous Italian companies will take part in the Conference and can be contacted at the stands of the ITA Agency and the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce. There are also numerous presentations by Italian companies scheduled on the sidelines of the official program of the Conference.
The panel organized on November 10 by representatives of ITA Agency, the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce and ANCE, entitled “Opportunities and cooperation for Italy in the energy sector in Cyprus and the Eastern Mediterranean Area” (Hall A – 4.00 pm – 4.30 pm) will be of particular interest for the promotion of collaborations with Italian companies.
The purpose of the EMC is to bring together in Cyprus the main operators, decision-makers and innovators of the energy sector in order to promote discussion about the potential for exploitation of the significant sources of natural gas present in the Eastern Mediterranean area.
The Conference is also an important opportunity for companies in the sector to share good practices, compare innovative strategies and create partnerships in the energy sector in order to drive industrial choices in support of the green and sustainable transition with an ever-increasing attention to renewable energy sources.
In this context, the most recent developments underway in Cyprus to proceed with the decarbonisation and conversion of energy production to sustainable sources, in line with the provisions of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, are of particular interest for Italian companies. The most significant activities include the production and storage of energy from renewable sources, research for the development of new solutions offered by hydrogen and the energy conversion of buildings.
The aim of the conference is to offer participants the benefit of a dedicated exhibition area where they can hold B2B meetings and where individual companies can introduce themselves to industry operators.
The EMC will take place at the Cyprus International Fair.
