The Flaiano International Prize for Italian Studies, now in its XVIII edition, was established in 2002 in collaboration with the MAECI, as a special section in the ambit of the Flaiano International Literature, Theater, Cinema and Television Awards.
Promoted and organized by the Ennio Flaiano Cultural Association, the Award enhances the work of Italianists in the world and will be given to three authors whose works have as their subject topics of Italian culture, which have been published abroad in Italian or foreign languages.
In this edition, the Jury of the Award is made up of experts in international culture, and will announce the three winners who will receive the prize in Pescara on July 6th. Only publications indicated by the Directors of the Italian Cultural Institutes abroad will be considered.
