Once again Italy will be represented at the Kypria International Festival with two performances that will take place in September:<\/p>\n
\u2018Tutti in Valigia\u2019 by Luigi Ciotta will take place on 4th and 5th September in Nicosia and Limassol.<\/p>\n
The show is a combination of physical theatre, clown and circus trickery. Luigi Ciotta takes us back in time, during the 1930s, and with his simplicity he engages the audience in this fast paced and poetic piece.<\/p>\n
\u2018Ai Confini Dello Ionio (To the edge of the Ionian Sea)\u2019 by Encardia Vs Salento new generation will take place on 23rd and 24th September in Nicosia and Limassol.<\/p>\n
\u0395ncardia, a musical ensemble inspired by, creating and presenting melodies and songs from the rich musical tradition of Southern Italy, together with the Italian singers Anna Cinzia Villani and Claudia Giannotta will perform a series of traditional songs in the Grico dialect (Greek of the Italian South), and traditional rhythms and dances of the Italian South.<\/p>\n
The participation of Italian artists and performers to the Kypria International Festival is supported by the Embassy of Italy in the context of the bilateral cultural agreement between Italy and Cyprus.<\/p>\n
Kypria International Festival is the leading annual cultural event of Cyprus hosting one month of theatre productions, dance and concerts by renowned international orchestras and musicians, staged at venues throughout the country.
