{"id":798,"date":"2022-12-06T12:51:13","date_gmt":"2022-12-06T09:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/12\/progetto-ih-at-donazione-dei-modelli-2\/"},"modified":"2022-12-06T12:51:13","modified_gmt":"2022-12-06T09:51:13","slug":"progetto-ih-at-donazione-dei-modelli-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2022\/12\/progetto-ih-at-donazione-dei-modelli-2\/","title":{"rendered":"IH-AT project: donation of the UNESCO Churches 3D-Printed Models to the Visually Impaired Community of Cyprus &#8211; 7 December"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 3D replicas of the churches belonging to the \u201cPainted Churches in the Troodos Region\u201d, included in UNESCO&#8217;s World Heritage List, are to be handed over to the visually impaired community of Cyprus, in an event scheduled to take place on 7 December 2022, at the \u201cAyios Varnavas School for the Blind\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The replicas will be donated to local stakeholders and installed in several locations, in order to enhance the tactile experience of the visually impaired people.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative makes part of the Invisible Heritage-Analysis and Technology (IH-AT) project, led by the Cyprus Institute and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation.
