{"id":1461,"date":"2017-02-01T09:29:43","date_gmt":"2017-02-01T06:29:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2017\/02\/procedure-di-ammissione-all-universita-2\/"},"modified":"2017-02-01T09:29:43","modified_gmt":"2017-02-01T06:29:43","slug":"procedure-di-ammissione-all-universita-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2017\/02\/procedure-di-ammissione-all-universita-2\/","title":{"rendered":"University of Siena &#8211; International (EU and non EU) students applications for 2017\/18"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Embassy of Italy informs that applications for international EU and non EU students wishing to study at the University of Siena in the 2017\/18 academic year are now open; students can apply via an online application system at <a href=\"http:\/\/enrolment.unisi.it\/\">http:\/\/enrolment.unisi.it\/<\/a> for maximum of two different courses.<\/p>\n<p>Students asking for admission to a first level degree (taught in Italian or English) are required to fill an application form and upload:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 For the courses taught in English language: if they are non native English speakers a transcript of English proficiency test (TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.) or any statement proving an equivalent proficiency<br \/>\u2022 For the courses taught in Italian language: if they don&#8217;t have the Italian citizenship or are non-EU citizen resident abroad must attach a certificate of proficiency in Italian, with language level &#8211; if they don&#8217;t have the certification they will have to take an Italian language test before the beginning of the course;<br \/>\u2022 Copy of passport (if non-EU citizen) or Identity Card<\/p>\n<p>Students wishing to apply for a first level degree usually get an admission letter within one week from application.<\/p>\n<p>Admission to a second level degree is subject to a mandatory preliminary evaluation by the Academic Committee of the course chosen, students wishing to apply are required to fill in the online application form and upload:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Curriculum Vitae<br \/>\u2022 Transcript of exams with grade<br \/>\u2022 For the courses taught in English language: if they are non native English speakers: a transcript of English proficiency test (TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.) or any statement proving an equivalent proficiency<br \/>\u2022 For the courses taught in Italian language: if they don&#8217;t have the Italian citizenship or are non-EU citizen resident abroad must attach a certificate of proficiency in Italian, with language level &#8211; if they don&#8217;t have the certification they will have to take an Italian language test before the beginning of the course;<br \/>\u2022 Copy of passport (if non-EU citizen) or Identity Card<br \/>\u2022 A motivation letter<\/p>\n<p>Results of the evaluation (and the relative admission\/rejection letter) can take up to two months.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Embassy of Italy informs that applications for international EU and non EU students wishing to study at the University of Siena in the 2017\/18 academic year are now open; students can apply via an online application system at http:\/\/enrolment.unisi.it\/ for maximum of two different courses.
