{"id":1176,"date":"2019-05-08T12:08:52","date_gmt":"2019-05-08T09:08:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2019\/05\/bando-di-concorso-per-traduzioni_0-2\/"},"modified":"2019-05-08T12:08:52","modified_gmt":"2019-05-08T09:08:52","slug":"bando-di-concorso-per-traduzioni_0-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2019\/05\/bando-di-concorso-per-traduzioni_0-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Call of proposal for translations into Italian and Italian into foreign languages"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Embassy of Italy informs that the MiBACT \u201cDirezione Generale Biblioteche e Istituti culturali\u201d, with Decree n. 50 of February 5, 2019, announced a call for tenders to award translations, to be financed with the Fund for the enhancement of the Italian culture and language abroad, established pursuant to Law 11 December 2016 n. 232.<\/p>\n<p>The deadline for submitting applications is 3th of May 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement provides n. 10 (ten) prizes for translations into Italian or Italian into foreign languages, of:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 literary works in prose and poetry;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 works of literary criticism, artistic criticism, essays, scientific research;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 cinematographic and theatrical scripts.<\/p>\n<p>Applications can be submitted by individual translators, publishers, film and theater production houses, of Italian or foreign nationality.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must apply to participate directly to the Ministero dei Beni e delle Attivit\u00e0 Culturali e del Turismo &#8211; Direzione Generale Biblioteche e Istituti culturali, Via Michele Mercati 4, 00197 Roma, according to the procedures specified in the announcement.<\/p>\n<p>The announcement and the relative annex can also be consulted online on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.librari.beniculturali.it\/it\/notizie\/notizia\/Bando-di-concorso-per-la-concessione-di-premi-per-le-traduzioni-annualita-2019\/\">MIBACT website<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Embassy of Italy informs that the MiBACT \u201cDirezione Generale Biblioteche e Istituti culturali\u201d, with Decree n. 50 of February 5, 2019, announced a call for tenders to award translations, to be financed with the Fund for the enhancement of the Italian culture and language abroad, established pursuant to Law 11 December 2016 n. 232.
