{"id":2063,"date":"2024-02-12T18:05:43","date_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:05:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/?page_id=2063"},"modified":"2024-02-12T18:04:44","modified_gmt":"2024-02-12T15:04:44","slug":"school-trips-to-italy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino-straniero\/visti\/school-trips-to-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"School trips to Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to the article 1 of the Decision adopted by THE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION on the 30th November 1994 , <strong>visa is not required<\/strong> <strong>for foreign school pupils who are not citizen of a member State<\/strong> but are <strong>legally resident<\/strong> in another member State if<\/p>\n<p>(a) <strong>in the framework of a school excursion<\/strong>, where the pupil is travelling as a member of a group of school pupils from a general education school;<\/p>\n<p>(b) <strong>the group is accompanied by a teacher<\/strong> from the school<\/p>\n<p>(c) the school pupil presents a travel document valid for crossing the border in question.<\/p>\n<p>In light of the above, schools planning a school trip to Italy should submit the relevant <a href=\"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/School-trips-form.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">form<\/a>, duly completed, bearing the school director&#8217;s signature as well as the school&#8217;s stamp.
