For an Italian residing abroad to obtain a passport, it is necessary to be registered in the AIRE of an Italian municipality).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In case an applicant has minor children, the submission of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ambnicosia.esteri.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Dichiarazione-assenza-ostative-passaporto.pdf\">relevant form<\/a> must be provided.<\/p>\n<p>Appointments with the consular office may be taken through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/prenotami.esteri.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Prenotami<\/a>\u00a0portal.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>IDENTITY CARDS<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Italian nationals residing in Cyprus may request the issuing of an electronic identity card.
