The advertising of the tenders and related notices shall be published on the website of the Directorate for Public Procurement of the Department of the Treasury of the Republic of Cyprus (RoC), at the following address: (https://www.eprocurement.gov.cy). It should be noted, in this regard, that most of the calls are published in Greek and the opportunity for dedicated advice is especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that intend to participate in the calls. More generally, also taking into account the local context, it is believed that the creation of consortia or partnerships with local companies can offer greater possibilities of awarding.
To facilitate access to the Cypriot market for economic operators from other countries, the Government of the RoC has established the “Invest Cyprus” Agency (www.investcyprus.org.cy), or the Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA) as an authority dedicated to attracting and facilitating direct investments in the country.
