The FAST IT portal for consular services

The portal allows the user to request registration in the Registry of Italians Abroad (AIRE), to communicate the change of their residence in the same consular district and to view their personal details by registering at the following link: https://serviziconsolarionline.esteri.it

The portal can also be used by citizens who have never obtained a consular service from the Italian Embassy in Nicosia and who have never been registered in its registry.

The cases whose elaboration was initiated through “Fast It” can be consulted online, and it is the  citizen’s responsibility to log in with their credentials to know their status.

In case of technical problems the request for registration in  AIRE office must be pursued by going in person to the consular desk, following an appointment.

Requests that do not meet the indicated criteria will be rejected by the operator.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Upon receiving the e-mail confirming registration by the Consular Section of this Embassy, the interested party can proceed with the request for any consular services, regardless of the application’s status appearing in FASTIT.

Please note that the  maximum time, according to the Law, for processing the AIRE registration/updating practices is 180 days as of  the submission of the application complete with all the necessary documents. Once the checks by the Embassy have been completed, the user will receive an e-mail concluding the procedure.

If the application is incomplete, the request for supplementary documents and any additional information will be made directly to the interested parties.

It should be noted that the AIRE registration procedure offered by “Fast It” is not to be considered as the actual registration to the AIRE, but  rather an automated method that minimizes typing errors or submission of incomplete applications.

The portal is constantly evolving and will soon offer many other online services.
