Passengers arriving to Italy – 31th of August update

Unitil the 25th of October, for travellers arriving in Italy from Cyprus is compulsory:
– complete the EU digital Passenger Locator Form;
– produce the European Digital COVID Certificate proving that you have completed the vaccination course for at least 14 days before arrival (only EMA approuved vaccination), taken a negative molecular or antigen swab test in a laboratory in the 48 hours prior to entering Italy, or recovered from Covid-19.
Children under six years are exempt from the requirement to take a test before entering Italy.
For the issuance of the European Digital COVID Certificate in Cyprus, please follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health: Press Releases Article – PIO. According to the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, for information and support on issuing the Certificate, citizens can contact the COVID-19 Call Center at 1474, while in case they cannot obtain the Certificate electronically, they can visit the Citizen Service Centres (KEP) and the Citizens’ Centres (KE.PO) by appointment for issuance of their Certificate.
