Passengers arriving to Italy - updated on 28th of January 2022

Unitil the 30th of June 2022, for travellers arriving in Italy from Cyprus is compulsory:


- complete the EU digital Passenger Locator Form;


- produce the European Digital COVID Certificate proving that you have completed the vaccination course for at least 14 days before arrival (only EMA approved vaccination), taken a negative molecular or antigen swab test in a laboratory in the 48 hours prior to entering Italy, or recovered from Covid-19.

Children under six years are exempt from the requirement to take a test before entering Italy.

For the issuance of the European Digital COVID Certificate in Cyprus, please follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health: Press Releases Article - PIO. According to the Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy, for information and support on issuing the Certificate, citizens can contact the COVID-19 Call Center at 1474.
