Rome-Med Dialogues 2021 – Youth Forum Contest

In the framework of the Rome-Med Dialogues 2021, the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has launched the third edition of the “Youth Forum Contest”, dedicated this year to “Green and Sustainable Solutions for the Future”.

The initiative aims to offer young people of up to 35 years old, from countries of the MENA region (Middle East and North Africa) with an opportunity to receive training and professional growth, by presenting innovative projects in relation to three Sustainable Development Goals:

· Clean water and sanitation;

· Affordable and clean energy;

· Responsible consumption and production.

Applications from Cyprus will be eligible to participate provided they are presented in partnership with counterparts from the MENA region.

The initiative includes a training course in “Project Development” offered to the participants submitting the best projects. At the end of the course, candidates will be able to apply lesson learned re-submitting their projects. A jury of experts will select the 8 most interesting proposals that will be presented during the Youth Forum at the 2021 Rome MED Dialogues (2-4 December 2021). A jury and the Rome Med audience will vote to select two winners, who will be awarded a cash prize to finance the development of their projects.

Deadline for applications is 31st May 2021.
