Lectures by Professor Ettore Fiorini (27 – 28 April 2017)

The Embassy of Italy, in collaboration with The Cyprus Institute and the Dante Alighieri Society, has the pleasure to invite you to two lectures by Prof. Ettore Fiorini, one of Italy’s most prominent physicists (National member of the “Accademia dei Lincei”, recipient of the prizes “Enrico Fermi and Bruno Pontecorvo”, and of the gold medal of the President of the Italian Republic awarded to “Benemeriti della Scienza e della Cultura”).

The first lecture, “Present and Future Searches on Archaeometallurgy of Sardinian Artifacts and Copper Provided by Cyprus”, will take place on Thursday, 27th April at 16.00 at The Cyprus Institute (free admission).

The second one, “Il ruolo dell’origine del rame di Cipro nell’acheometria della Sardegna”, will be given in Italian on Friday, 28th April at 19.00 at the Pierides Museum in Larnaca (paid admission, which includes refreshments and a visit to the Pierides Museum).
