University of Siena - International (EU and non EU) students applications for 2017/18

The Embassy of Italy informs that applications for international EU and non EU students wishing to study at the University of Siena in the 2017/18 academic year are now open; students can apply via an online application system at http://enrolment.unisi.it/ for maximum of two different courses.

Students asking for admission to a first level degree (taught in Italian or English) are required to fill an application form and upload:

• For the courses taught in English language: if they are non native English speakers a transcript of English proficiency test (TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.) or any statement proving an equivalent proficiency
• For the courses taught in Italian language: if they don't have the Italian citizenship or are non-EU citizen resident abroad must attach a certificate of proficiency in Italian, with language level - if they don't have the certification they will have to take an Italian language test before the beginning of the course;
• Copy of passport (if non-EU citizen) or Identity Card

Students wishing to apply for a first level degree usually get an admission letter within one week from application.

Admission to a second level degree is subject to a mandatory preliminary evaluation by the Academic Committee of the course chosen, students wishing to apply are required to fill in the online application form and upload:

• Curriculum Vitae
• Transcript of exams with grade
• For the courses taught in English language: if they are non native English speakers: a transcript of English proficiency test (TOEFL, Cambridge, etc.) or any statement proving an equivalent proficiency
• For the courses taught in Italian language: if they don't have the Italian citizenship or are non-EU citizen resident abroad must attach a certificate of proficiency in Italian, with language level - if they don't have the certification they will have to take an Italian language test before the beginning of the course;
• Copy of passport (if non-EU citizen) or Identity Card
• A motivation letter

Results of the evaluation (and the relative admission/rejection letter) can take up to two months.
